Father Marek Kasperczuk was ordained in 1999, Bialystok, Poland. He holds a Master of Art Degree from the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) and a STD (Sacred Theology Doctorate) from the University of St. Mary of the Lake/Liturgical Institute. Father Kasperczuk began his pastoral work in Poland. He came to the U.S. in 2001 and was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Chicago in 2007. He served as a rector of Bishop Abramowicz Seminary program for Polish men interested in priesthood. He was an Associate Professor at the Liturgical Institute, Mundelein, IL. He joined the faculty of Josephinum and assumed the role of the Director of Sacred Liturgy in 2018.
During this Lenten season Father Kasperczuk will share with us his research on the Saint John Paul II’s teachings that views the Eucharist as a dynamic exchange that takes place between God and the faithful in this Sacrament.
