Recent Memories and Upcoming Events!

Recent Events

In recent months, our Polish-American community has experienced several memorable events.

PAC Campout/Picnic

Thank you to everyone who joined our outdoor gathering! The weekend was filled with delicious food, lively games, and a wonderful community spirit. This year’s picnic organization was led by our newly appointed trustee, Nicholas Mikulski, who did a fantastic job. We are grateful to have a new trustee stepping in to help us continue this cherished tradition. Here is a photo album that captures the memories from the event.

PAC's Weekly Sand Volleyball

PAC hosted a weekly sand volleyball event that began on April 29, 2025, and continued every Tuesday evening throughout the summer. Everyone was invited to participate, regardless of age or skill level. A beautiful playground located next to the court ensured that families with young children could also enjoy the event. This weekly gathering was made possible by the efforts of Gosia Cymbal and then continued under the responsibility of Marek Myszkowski. We are very thankful for their contributions in supporting our community. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Polish Sunday

PAC members took part in the celebration of Polish Sunday on September 21 in Bellevue, OH. Each year, the Polish American community comes together for this event.

A reminder for our Catholic members: Holy Mass is celebrated in Polish every Sunday at noon at St. Christopher’s Church. Before Mass, there is an opportunity to receive the sacrament of reconciliation in Polish.

YogaBear Club

For many years, the YogaBear Club has offered a wonderful space for women to gather and connect on Thursday evenings, all thanks to the incredible Marzenna Myszkowska! The YogaBear Club provides a warm and friendly environment where you can practice yoga, aerobics, or take a walk while enjoying the company of supportive and welcoming Polish friends.

Polish Folk Dance Workshop

We thoroughly enjoyed seeing so many enthusiastic dancers learning new steps and sharing Polish culture together. This wonderful event was organized in collaboration with the Polish Club at The Ohio State University, the Polish Studies Initiative, and the Center for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies. A special thank you to these partners for helping us share Polish traditions and promote cultural community on campus and beyond! Dziękujemy! Additionally, we want to give a big shout-out to our fantastic instructors, Zuzia, Maciej, and Mateusz, as well as to all of you who came in your stunning regional costumes and brought such incredible energy to the dance floor! Here is a photo album that captures the memories from the event.

Upcoming Events

As we look ahead, we invite you to mark your calendars for this special gathering:

We are excited to announce that Dr. Justyna Hofmokl from the Cyfrowe Obywatelstwo foundation will be joining us for a remote visit, scheduled for late October or early November. This foundation provides tools and knowledge to promote a responsible and safe digital experience, encompassing social media, AI, and websites. The upcoming talk will focus on the foundation’s initiatives with teachers and educators and will be geared toward parents, grandparents, and educators. We plan for this presentation to be delivered in Polish.
