Candidate for Vice-President

Grzegorz (Greg) Kamieniecki

My name is Grzegorz (Greg) Kamieniecki. My wife Danuta and I moved to Columbus in 1996 — a year after we got married.

To keep our adventurous spirit alive, we moved to Ireland in 2006, where we spent almost five years. We came back to Columbus in 2011.

Over the last 10 years I ran my own CAD drafting/design business. At the beginning of 2022 I started a new chapter in my career as a structural designer at AEP.

In my free time I enjoy playing soccer as well as doing usual “men’s activities” like grilling, smoking meats, and remodeling our house.

We live in Blacklick with our two boys, Robert, an OSU student, Patrick, who attends Gahanna Lincoln HS, and our English Sheppard, Kulfon.

Candidate for Treasurer

Bartosz Warzycha

Born in the city of Zabrze, Poland (1990)- I have lived in the U.S. (Columbus, OH) since 1996. I attended college at The Marshall University where I played on the Men’s Soccer Team and finished my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Finance. My wife Ania and I met in Poland over the summer of 2008. Almost 10 years later, through the fiancé visa process (K-1 Visa), we have been happily married in the U.S. now for 3+ years. Since graduating college I’ve been working for a financial planning firm in Columbus- helping people with finances and protection planning has been a rewarding and fulfilling career for me. Given the nature of my practice, the opportunity to be the Treasurer of PAC was something new and exciting and I am honored to serve in such a capacity for this club. In my free time, I enjoy various outdoor/nature activities, sports, breaking a sweat, eating and cooking food, reading a good book, connecting with new people and spending time with the people I care about- family and friends. Polish and Proud!

The family is actively engaged in supporting the activities of the Polish American Club since their arrival to Columbus in 2013. Prior to assuming the role of the PAC’s Vice-President, Helena served on the PAC Board as its Secretary. Since 2013 Grzegorz serves as a music coordinator for the PAC’s Catholic community and Helena sings in the Polish church choir Diakonia. They both are grateful for the warm welcome that the PAC afforded them upon their arrival to Columbus.

Robert Kamieniecki

My parents are originally from Poland and moved to Columbus in 1996, where I was later born. Our family lived in Ireland for several years before moving back to Columbus in 2011.

I am currently a sophomore at OSU Main Campus, where I am planning on double majoring in economics and political science.

On campus, I am involved with BCI, the preeminent investing club on campus. At BCI, I recently took on a leadership position as the director of my sector. My responsibilities include leading weekly sector meetings and interviewing applicants.

Outside of school, I intern downtown at Boenning & Scattergood in their public finance investment banking office. Our team helps school districts and local governments raise funds through the bond market. The work combines my passion for politics and the markets.

In my free time I enjoy playing soccer, cooking, reading, investing, and traveling to new places.
