The Board of Trustees of the Polish American Club (PAC) has a long-standing tradition of conducting annual elections in Thaddeus Kosciuszko Park, named after a renowned Polish freedom fighter. Mr. Kosciuszko played a crucial role in the Revolutionary War and fought for Poland’s independence. He was a military engineer and Continental Army colonel, and the United States awarded him for his contributions to the war. The land where the park is located used to be Mr. Kosciuszko’s property, and it has been transformed into a park in his honor. Thaddeus Kosciuszko Park in Dublin spans 36 acres and was opened in May 2012. It was part of a grant of 500 acres awarded by Congress to commemorate Mr. Kosciuszko’s legacy and his unwavering commitment to advocating for freedom and equality in both America and Poland.
