DESCRIPTION:The Polish Club at Ohio State\, the Polish American Club of Columbus (PAC)\, and the Polish Studies Initiative (PSI) invite you to join us for a special workshop celebrating the traditions of Polish dance! All are welcome to try a simple folk dance and sing a Polish song. Four regional folk costumes will be on display\, each sharing a unique story. Join us for this joyful\, hands-on celebration of Polish heritage. \nInstructors\nZuzanna (Zuzia) Hammond and Maciej Pietrzak\nZuzia and Maciej\, passionate members of PAC\, will lead us in a vibrant celebration of Polish folklore. Zuzia\, a former dancer from the Slask region\, and Maciej\, a newcomer with infectious enthusiasm\, will teach traditional Polish dances while wearing folk costumes from LAJKONIK\, the Polish American ensemble founded at Ohio State. \nThis event is free and open to the public. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate individuals to contribute meaningfully to our mission and play a key role in shaping the future of our organization. We appreciate the diversity of traditional Polish Christmas dishes that everyone brings every year. \nAdmission is free for all PAC members. However\, we encourage all members to renew their annual PAC memberships at the door. Guests under 18 years of age do not have to pay. Non-members and those who do not plan on renewing their memberships are requested to pay $25 at the door.\n(We are also excited to announce that Santa Claus) \n \nAt the Christmas Bazaar during Wigilia\, we will have small items available for purchase. We welcome any donations to the Bazaar for sale. All sales proceeds will go towards PAC and future events! \nOpłatki will also be available for purchase. One pack includes three white and one pink opłatki ($5). \nWe will also be collecting warm clothes for the homeless at the door.
