Join us for a May Celebration "Majowka" and Potluck on May 30 from 3 to 9 PM, rain or shine!

Celebrate spring with the Polish American Club of Columbus. Enjoy an afternoon outdoors with food, music, dancing, games, and community as we honor the Constitution of May 3rd.

We’ll have a short presentation of Polish folk dances, followed by music, dancing, and a community potluck.

The Club will provide:

  • Hamburgers & buns
  • Condiments
  • Plates, utensils, and cups

Please bring:

  • A dish to share for the potluck
  • Your own beer or beverages
  • Water and ice (very important!)

Please be mindful of foods that could spoil in the sun or heat. Coolers and extra ice are strongly encouraged.

Planned activities:

  • Badminton
  • Cornhole
  • Giant Jenga
  • Volleyball
  • Music and dancing

Please register in advance so we can estimate how many hamburgers to prepare. We look forward to celebrating together with good food, great company, and Polish traditions!

The Polish American Club of Columbus is excited to invite you to our spring Majówka picnic!
 
Majówka is usually celebrated in early May with Labor Day, Flag Day, and Constitution Day, but this year we’re starting the fun a little early. Come join us on Saturday, May 30, for a day of community and celebration.
 
Since this is a new event for our club, we welcome families and friends to join us for a fun picnic, outdoor games, and a chance to enjoy the Polish Majówka tradition together. More details will be shared soon.

Marzanna is a traditional Slavic figure representing winter, and every year, people in Poland make a straw doll and burn or drown her to mark the start of spring.
Join us on March 21st for our own “Drowning of Marzanna” celebration!
We’ll meet at Highbanks Metro Park at 12:30 PM to send Marzanna away and celebrate the arrival of longer days and warmer weather.
Everyone is welcome—bring family and friends, dress for the weather, and get ready to shout “goodbye winter, hello spring!” as we send Marzanna off until next year.

Step back into the magic of our Ostatki celebration, The Carnival of Hearts: The Black & Red Affair, held on February 14 at The American Legion Hall. This unforgettable evening blended the lively traditions of Poland with the romance and joy of Valentine’s Day, creating a night full of warmth, color, and community spirit.
From the elegance of the Polonaise to joyful dancing late into the night, the room was alive with music, laughter, and connection. Friends, families, and couples joined in fun games and heartfelt moments, making memories that we’ll cherish for years to come.

The Carnival of Hearts

We warmly invite you to Ostatki, The Black & Red Affair! Let’s celebrate the last days of Carnival by bringing together vibrant Polish traditions and the joyful spirit of Valentine’s Day. 
 
PAC Carnival of Hearts is all about community, connection, and fun—expect lively Polish dances like the Polonaise, engaging games, and plenty of opportunities to make lasting memories together.
 
Don’t miss our “Market of Hearts,” where you’ll discover unique artisan goods.

Traditional Opłatek Sharing

Experience the warmth of the season and share the Christmas wafer (opłatek), a symbol of unity and goodwill. Christmas wafers will also be available for purchase, allowing you to share them with your family at home.

Saint Nicholas Visit

Enjoy a magical evening as Saint Nicholas brings special gifts for the children.

Potluck Dinner

This event will be potluck-style, and we kindly ask everyone to bring a vegetarian dish to share. For many years, our community has honored the tradition of gathering to enjoy a meat-free meal, reflecting the true spirit of Wigilia.

Christmas Bazaar & Raffle

Explore handmade crafts from local artisans and participate in a raffle with exciting prizes.

Dear Members and Friends,

We invite you to join us for the annual PAC Wigilia Christmas Party on Saturday, December 13, at 5:30 p.m. This year, the celebration will take place at Amelita Mirolo Barn, located in Sunny 95 Park, Upper Arlington.

This festive potluck is free for current PAC members, and we kindly ask that you bring a vegetarian dish to share. For non-members, the cost is $30 per person.

We encourage everyone to consider renewing their membership or joining the PAC to enjoy free admission.

Here are the membership options available:  

  • Family Membership – $45/year: Covers two adults and their dependents.  
  • Individual Membership – $30/year: For one adult  
  • Senior Family (65+) – $35/year: A couple with at least one senior  
  • Senior Individual (65+) – $25/year: For one adult aged 65 and over  
  • Student Membership – $15/year: For current students  

Your membership supports our programs and helps strengthen our community. Please complete the membership form to join or renew, and also fill out the Wigilia registration form to help us plan for attendance.
